A communication gym • A social club • A local leadership business

A new kind of place for every city
We have gyms for physical strength, studios for creativity and spaces for professional networking. But the abilities to express an idea, listen fully, tell a story, lead a room, handle pressure and connect with another person are still left largely to chance.
SpeakNess changes that. It turns communication into something people can practice consistently—in a room designed for reps, feedback, belonging and visible progress.
Human skills in an AI-shaped world
AI can draft the email, build the slides, organize the idea and even suggest the words. It cannot replace what happens when a person must read the room, earn trust, listen beneath the words, respond in real time and make another human being feel understood.
The more content becomes automated, the more valuable authentic presence, discernment, empathy and connection become. SpeakNess trains the capabilities that technology can support—but that people still have to embody.
Be fully in the room—not merely prepared.
Make ideas credible through how you show up.
Think, listen and respond in real time.
Create the human experience information alone cannot.
The future will not belong only to the people with the best tools. It will belong to the people who can use those tools—and still connect, lead and communicate when it counts.
Inside the club
Members do not sit through lectures or prepare formal speeches every week. They move, practice, experiment, connect and try again.
Skill-focused communication workouts for voice, clarity, storytelling, presence and leadership.
Short, guided repetitions with coaching, reflection and the all-important second attempt.
Connection nights, story exchanges, games and experiences that make growth social.
Quarterly opportunities to share ideas, demonstrate progress and move a message into action.
The founding host opportunity
A SpeakNess host does more than organize events. You create a place where people become more capable, confident and connected—while building a recurring local business around an experience that matters.
See if hosting fits youYou bring the local leadership.
A club system—not a folder of ideas
You should not have to become a curriculum designer, copywriter, advertiser, event producer and operations expert before you can lead a great room. SpeakNess HQ builds the infrastructure. You bring it to life locally.
SpeakNess Facilitator Training
Every host receives full facilitator development so you can confidently create psychological safety, lead high-energy practice, coach observable behaviors and help every kind of member make meaningful progress.
This is practical training. You experience the exercises, rehearse the formats, facilitate real reps and receive feedback before leading your own club.
Plus continuing monthly host development, new-format walkthroughs and facilitator feedback as the club grows.
Built for people who bring people together
You already help people grow and want a repeatable local experience beyond one-to-one work.
You naturally gather people, create relationships and see what your community could become.
You know how to guide a room without making yourself the center of it.
You have a gym, studio, coworking space or community venue ready for meaningful programming.
You want to be known for creating transformation, opportunity and stronger human connection.
You see both the mission and the potential for a recurring, expandable local business.
The value beyond club revenue
SpeakNess becomes a front door into your community—one that lets people experience your leadership before they ever need what your primary business sells.
By giving others a platform to practice, share what they do and become more visible, you become the connector at the center of valuable relationships. That trust, proximity and leadership compound far beyond a single club meeting.

Now forming
This is a small, hands-on group of the first local leaders who will launch, test and shape the SpeakNess Club system alongside founder Nick Lambe.
Built by Nick Lambe
Nick Lambe is the founder of SpeakNess, a speaker, educator, event architect and communication-fitness advocate who has delivered or contributed to more than 100 events and studied the work of hundreds of speakers.
Across workshops, academies, summits, stages and leadership programs, he kept seeing the same gap: people could access information about communication, but they had almost nowhere to practice it consistently, socially and without the pressure of performance.
SpeakNess was built to close that gap—and Local Clubs are how it becomes accessible in real communities, led by people who understand that better communication changes businesses, relationships, leadership and lives.
“The vision is not simply to help more people give speeches. It is to create the places where people become more capable of expressing, connecting, leading and contributing.”
Questions worth asking
No. The founding model is a supported local host membership and licensed brand experience—not a conventional franchise. The formal long-term expansion structure will be shaped by the founding proof period.
No. SpeakNess is a communication gym and social club. Members train broad real-world communication through games, drills, scenarios, partner work, feedback and repeated attempts—not primarily prepared speeches and parliamentary meetings.
You need access to a welcoming, flexible local space, but you do not need to own it. Hosts can partner with coworking spaces, gyms, studios, community rooms, colleges and hospitality venues.
Plan for approximately four to six hours per week during the launch phase. The ready-to-run curriculum and monthly host materials are designed to keep content creation off your plate.
Hosts can generate revenue through memberships, drop-ins, specialty workshops, private team experiences, local partnerships, showcases and future SpeakNess pathways.
You will receive a short fit review and, if there appears to be alignment, an invitation to a host exploration conversation. It is a mutual selection process—not an automatic enrollment.
